Paix à Gaza

Depuis maintenant plus d’une semaine, les bombardements pleuvent sur Gaza. Sommés par l’armée israélienne de “partir” pour ne pas subir les bombardements, les Palestiniens de l’enclave gazaouie fuient leurs villes sans presque aucune chance de retour sur leurs terres. À ce jour, plus d’un million d’habitants ont quitté la ville. À nouveau, le monde assiste à un exode de Palestiniens. Pour beaucoup, ces déplacements forcés ne sont pas sans rappeler le traumatisme de la Nakba de 1948. 

Habitations, écoles et hôpitaux sont bombardés par l’armée israélienne, sans distinction entre potentiels terroristes et civils. Au-delà des dégâts matériels, dénoncés par les organisations humanitaires présentes sur place, les morts des civils continuent de croître, payant le prix fort de la volonté guerrière et du choix de la punition collective par le gouvernement de Netanyahou. Plus de 2 750 Palestiniens sont morts, dont 700 enfants, et près de 10 000 blessés sont à déplorer. 

Les Nations Unies et les ONG humanitaires demandent l’arrêt des frappes israéliennes et mettent en garde sur la possibilité d’un véritable nettoyage ethnique. Pourtant, la parole de la France reste trop floue, entre un quasi-soutien unilatéral à la politique de Netanyahou et une timide revendication pour la reconnaissance de l’État palestinien et l’établissement de la paix. 

Le MJCF revendique l’arrêt des bombardements sur Gaza et la libération des otages.

Pour une paix juste et durable entre Israël et la Palestine, le MJCF réaffirme sa revendication de la reconnaissance d’un État Palestinien, au côté de l’État israélien, sur les frontières définies en 1967 par l’ONU et avec Jérusalem-Est comme capitale.

Le MJCF revendique des fonds d’aides humanitaires pour la reconstruction de la bande de Gaza afin de permettre aux Gazaouis de bénéficier de leur droit au retour. 

Peace at Gaza

Since more than a week now, a hail of fire rains on Gaza. Ordered to leave by the Israelian Army, the Palestinians of the Gaza enclave run away from their city with almost no chance of coming back on their lands. At this day, more than a million of residents left the city. Once again, the world sees an exodus of the Palestinians. For a lot of people, these forced movements are a reminder of the Nakba psychological trauma in 1948.

Homes, schools and hospitals are bombed by the Israelian army without distinction between potential terrorists and civilians. Beyond the material damages denounced by the aid organization, the number of civilian deaths largely increase paying the war-like will and the choice of collective punishment by the Netanyahu government. More than 2.750 Palestinians died including 700 children and more than 10.000 wounded are to be deplored.

The United Nations and the humanitarian organizations asked to stop the Israelian strike and gave a warning about the possibility of an ethnic cleaning. However, the position of France is too hazy between an almost unconditional support to the policy of Netanyahu and a shy demand for the reconnaissance of the Palestinian State.

The MJCF claims the stopping of the bombing on Gaza and the liberation of the hostages.

For a fair and durable peace between Israel and Palestine, the MJCF reaffirms its claim for the reconnaissance of the Palestinian state on the border defined by the resolution 242 of 1967 and with Jerusalem-Est as its capital.

The MJCF also claims humanitarian funds for the reconstruction of Gaza to help the Gazans to benefit of a return of their rights.
